Sandra Koot

     Sandra Koot, age 70 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026 in the company of her friends. Beloved mother to Adam Koot-Bascomb. Cherished sister of Agatha 'Nicki' Meegan, Pamela Koot, William 'Billy' Koot, and the late Yvonne Brouwers and her husband Frank.    

     Sandra proudly owned and operated the dog grooming business, “Gentle Grooms” for 23 years, where she was known for her boundless compassion and patience for every pet who walked through her door.    

     Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Sandra's life by gathering for visiting hours at Mount Auburn Cemetery’s Bigelow Chapel, 580 Mount Auburn St. Cambridge, MA on Friday February 27, 2026 from 12 NOON to 2 PM. Service to follow at 2 PM.
